So close...Bolle $19.00/$6.50 just misses for Daily Specials
Posted @ 10:03:00 EST
Phew, that was close! Our Daily Specials tip BOLLE $19.00/$6.50 looked the winner 50m out but was grabbed in the final stride at Sandown Lakeside on Wednesday. For members who bet eachway, there was still a great return but it would have been nice to have landed the win component! Our ImpactPro ratings performed well again...Two races were assessed at Sandown for two winners, BLUE OSCAR $7.80, RUNNING RIOT $1.90. At Wyong, two races were assessed for two winners, INTRUDER $3.30 and IZACAT $7.50.

Join the PPD Club today...All it costs is little more than a dollar a day...It's a real bargain...

Devi Garh $4.10 wins for Daily Specials on Monday
Posted @ 09:46:00 EST
A nice start to the week for our Daily Specials on Monday...Two selections for one winner, DEVI GARH $4.10, plus 3 winners, including top-raters BOSS IT'S OVER $8.80 and TICTACS $4.20 for our ImpactPro ratings. Here's how Club editor Brian Blackwell advised members to back Devi Garh:

A bad squeeze-up near the 200m cost (5) Devi Garh 9/2 any chance last start and I suggest we give her another chance in race 10, a fillies & mares RB62 hdcp 1310m at Ararat. The Robert Smerdon trained filly came across from a wide gate to share the lead into the straight in an RB68 f&m 1302m at Seymour on June 19 but as she settled down for the battle to the line she copped a sideswipe and was tightened up out of the race. Nick Hall had no other option than to ease up on her and Devi Garh finished last of the 13 runners, btn 6.6 lens. She had won a Mdn at Swan Hill at her previous start and this is the formline we should consider. Drawn well in gate #2, Devi Garh is a definite chance.

5 Daily Specials, 3 winners at $5.70, $8.00 and $7.60 on Saturday
Posted @ 09:01:00 EST
A HUGE winning day for PPD Club members on Saturday! There were 5 Daily Specials tips and home came SEA BATTLE $8.00, PINNACLES $7.60 and ALBALEDEJO $5.70. Club editor Brian Blackwell's tip for Sea Battle and bracketmate SNORT (2nd) opened up yet another opportunity for our members to land a huge trifecta return. Taking Sea Battle & Snort for 1st/2nd and the Field for 3rd ($26 outlay) the return was $1037 (Vic TAB) and $848 (NSW TAB). Here's how our members were advised to get on Sea Battle and Snort:

A bracket attack of (5) Snort 11/2 and (12) Sea Battle 10/1 looks the way to go in race 6, a heat of the Winter C'ship 1420m at Flemington. Snort likes the Flemington track and he is ideally suited by the distance of today's race and by the firm conditions. Last start he came from near last on the turn to finish on well into 4th/14 at Flem 1400m on May 31, and that run looks like a good pointer. Sea Battle is a favorite of mine and he always gives his best. He won for us at Sandown 1400m last start. He has a wide gate to contend with but he has early pace and should be able to settle into a handy slot.

Why don't you join the PPD Club? The fee is $220 for 6 months and that includes GST...It works out to little more than a dollar a day...Remember, we operate every racing day of the year...Join now...

Molexio $3.50 lands Daily Specials tip at Sandown
Posted @ 00:27:00 EST
Two Daily Specials for PPD Club members on Wednesday...and MOLEXIO $3.50 scored at Sandown Hillside. Members were also given the $6.10 quinella and $8.60 exacta with Filou Shot $3.20 running 2nd. The 'Field for 3rd' trifecta for $18 paid $90.80. This is how Club editor Brian Blackwell assessed the race:

The booking of Craig Williams encourages me to think that (5) Molexio 8/1 is at a key 'strike point' for race 4, a 3YO 1000m hdcp at Sandown Hillside. The El Moxie gelding ripped home down the outside for a length 2nd in RB68 class 1100m at Bendigo on June 11. That followed his 4th/15 to the smart Distinctive Lass at Sandown-H 1000m on May 28 when he again produced a bold finale from well back turning for home. Today's heavy conditions are ideal for Molexio. His main danger should be (1) Filou Shot 5/2, who failed in Listed class at Flem 1200m on June 7 and was 3rd/15 to Distinctive Lass at Sandown-H 1000m before that, finishing a half length ahead of Molexio.

Absolut Glam $5.10 a big winner for Daily Specials
Posted @ 09:34:00 EST
Two Daily Specials tips for PPD Club members on Saturday...and ABSOLUT GLAM $5.10 landed the money for us in the Grp 1 Winter Stakes at Eagle Farm. Our Saturdays-only RaceQuest Ratings were also on target again with 2 winners from 2 selections...ILLUMINATES $6.00 and YOUTHFUL JACK $2.10. A MASSIVE winning day for the PPD Club's ImpactPro ratings on Thursday...spearheaded by a 44/1 winner at Wyong and then a HUGE $2,363 trifecta for a $6 box bet at Seymour! MODIK $44.40 won for ImpactPro at Wyong. The bonanza exotics result came via our three top-raters in race 6 at Seymour...PARU'S PRIDE 1st $21.60, Bridgeway 2nd 33/1, Fairy Tale 3rd 2/1. The quinella paid $181.40 and the exacta returned $524.40.

MORE SUCCESS...We assessed 2 races for longshot selections on Friday, and our headline special was KICKING CLASS 1st $7.40, while in the other race our 'danger' tip was MA PLEAZE 1st $4.70,
