Chris Waller's in-form stayer Junoob is the horse to beat in Saturday's Group 2 Hollindale Stakes (1800m) at the Gold Coast according to Sportsbet.com.au. A winner of four of his seven runs this preparation, Junoob has opened $2.50 with acceptances to be taken on Wednesday.
Three runners have been placed on the second line of betting at $5 including Junoob's stablemate Moriarty, Streama and Angel Of Mercy.
That quartet is expected to dominate the race with the next horses Military Move and Precedence out to $15.
Junoob appeared to struggle in the heavy conditions at Rosehill last start but still managed to win the Neville Selwood Stakes.
He has since had a barrier trial at Randwick, finishing at the tail of the field without being put under any pressure by his jockey Nash Rawiller, who will ride at the Gold Coast.
