The Mathew Ellerton and Simon Zahra training partnership have been the in-form stable of the summer and they travel across town to Caulfield on Tuesday with another strong team, reports racing.com.

Among seven runners throughout the eight-race program, the duo saddle two of the leading contenders in Sword Of Light and Want To Rock in the Group 3 Blue Diamond Fillies Preview (1000m) and also have two chances in the Listed John Dillon Stakes (1400m), including the favouriteDurendal.

With both fillies having won on debut, Ellerton said he was unable to split Sword Of Light and Want To Rock, believing it will come down to how the pair handle race day.

“Obviously Sword Of Light was a late scratching on New Years Day at Flemington when she played up in the gates but she’s been back to the trials and has behaved herself well,” Ellerton told Racing.com’sTom Biddington.

Want To Rock has drawn horrendously but if they both turn up with their race day heads on then we’re confident that they’ll both run well but it’s a big field with plenty of unknowns.”

CrownBet has Sword Of Light, who will be partnered by Damian Lane from barrier four, as the shorter of the two in the betting at $7, with debut Flemington winner Want To Rock - who has drawn barrier 19 for Katelyn Mallyon - rated a $10 chance.

Durendal completed a hat-trick of victories last start in the Group 3 Standish Handicap (1200m) at Flemington and although the stable had accepted with the four-year-old in Saturday’s Group 2 Australia Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley, Ellerton said they opted in favour of the easier race.
