Darren's been out of the saddle since a fall in a barrier trial in Hong Kong in February. His balance and coordination are affected. He says will return to Australia for his rehab. He adds: 'I'm no better and no worse than I was when they did the last MRI, that's the report...I'll move back to Sydney and continue my rehabilitation there and keep working towards riding again. It's obvious now this is going to be a very long process, maybe even a year or two, they said.' Well, one man's bad luck is another's gain and Kiwi star James McDonald is tipped to replace Darren as the #1 jockey for HK trainer John Moore.
