Goulburn trainer Danny Williams has been fined $7500 by Racing NSW stewards after an inquiry into Schmoo returning a positive swab to prohibited substance promazine sulphoxide after it won at Warwick Farm on March 25. Williams pleaded guilty to a charge of taking the horse to the races with a banned substance in its system. In handing down the penalty, stewards took into account Williams's early plea and good record. Schmoo was automatically disqualified and Our Corey declared the winner.
