The sprinting son of no Excuse Needed recently hit the racetracks again following a two-month hiatus and immediately set tongues wagging when successful in a fresh state at Pukekohe; albeit by a nose margin. He had previously won an open trial at Paeroa, so the win wasn't unexpected by any means. Last campaign saw him chalking up a brace of victories in the lower grades during springtime before a couple of failures at Ellerslie saw him being put aside. He certainly looks a different horse now and has returned in fine fettle for a winter preparation.
