Training Group One winners is something Bart Cummings does better than anyone else and the master is confident he can bring up number 252 in the Ranvet Stakes.

But he is not prepared to split Melbourne Cup winner Viewed and stablemate Moatize and will be happy with the quinella in Saturday's 2000m Rosehill feature.

"Viewed is better at weight-for-age, we all know that, but Moatize is coming along very well and hasn't had as much experience," Cummings said.

"I think they'll run one-two."

Viewed and Moatize, who finished sixth in the Melbourne Cup, both come into the Ranvet off lead-ups in the Apollo and Chipping Norton Stakes with Viewed finishing in front of his stablemate each time.

In their latest encounter Viewed was fourth in the Chipping Norton and Moatize sixth with both races won by Tuesday Joy who has been sent to Dubai to contest the Dubai Duty Free later this month.

Despite his record of Group One victories throughout his career, Cummings has not collected a major trophy in Sydney for almost a decade since Allez Suez won the 1999 Epsom Handicap.

If that doesn't change on Saturday there are still plenty of opportunities in the upcoming weeks.

Although best known for his Melbourne Cup feats, Cummings has a handy list of Golden Slipper winners and is looking to Sunday Rose to perform well in what is a tough Reisling Stakes against the likes of More Joyous and Melito on Saturday.

The chestnut filly was bred by Cummings who retained her to race and named her after the daughter of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban.

"They are both redheads and both pretty so it's a good name," he said.

While Cummings believes Viewed and Moatize will be fighting out the finish of the Ranvet, his son Anthony sees the race a little differently.

He will be represented by Road To Rock who he says will have to overcome the dominant favourite Theseo to win, and he believes he can.

Road To Rock was forced to race more forward than Cummings would have liked in the Australian Cup won by Niconero who just nabbed Theseo in the final stride.

Road To Rock wound up sixth, beaten less than three lengths.

"Road To Rock has settled back into Sydney well and has another shot at Theseo," Cummings said.

"The race wasn't run quite the way we wanted in Melbourne, he got to Theseo a bit early and probably wasn't seasoned enough for that sort of duel.

"Rosehill will suit him and I think he gets his chance."

Theseo remained at $1.90 with TAB Sportsbet on Friday with Viewed at $6.50, Road To Rock $17 and Moatize $18.
