Unbeaten fillies Defiant Dame and Karuta Queen headline initial nominations for Sunday's $200,000 Magic Millions Wyong 2YO Classic.

The David Payne-trained Defiant Dame was a brilliant winner of the Listed Gimcrack Stakes in her only raceday appearance while Karuta Queen put back-to-back wins together at Rosehill in October.

Defiant Dame announced she was on target for her Wyong assignment with an easy 6-1/2 length barrier trial win at the NSW central coast track on Friday.

Karuta Queen, trained by Neville Layt at Queanbeyan, enjoyed 10 days in the paddock after her latest victory on October 23 and has since won a Canberra trial to set up the showdown on Sunday.

The 2YO Classic attracted 14 nominations with Payne also entering Kembla maiden winner Cocky Raider.

Entries for the Classic have been extended until Wednesday.

Cocky Raider is one of four juveniles also nominated for the 2YO Handicap at Rosehill on Saturday.

Sydney trainers' premiersip leader Chris Waller has three youngsters - Grift, Mossmoney and Sabutai - nominated for the Wyong feature.

Pago Pago Stakes winner Brightexpectations is one of the leading attractions among 16 nominations for the $100,000 Magic Millions Wyong 3YO Stakes (1200m).

The More Than Ready colt will be out to capture a Wyong Magic Millions double after winning the two-year-old feature last year.

Consistent colt Top Drop is also in line to run as is unbeaten Queenslander Flying Minstrel.

Sydney jockey Glyn Schofield ventured to Doomben last week to partner the Terry Bailey-trained colt in a six-length barrier trial win ahead of his return to racing at Wyong.
