Punters are clamouring to back More Joyous to win April's $3.5 million Golden Slipper but are staying away from her long odds-on quote in the Silver Slipper Stakes at Rosehill.

But one horse who has been crunched for Saturday's Group Two 1100-metre feature is the Marc Conners-trained Classic Rush.

The Charge Forward filly opened at $41 on TAB Sportsbet fixed odds and has been backed in to $18.

Classic Rush scored on debut at Wyong on February 12 in what looks a good form race after third placegetter So Anyway won at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.

So Anyway's trainer Jason Coyle has indicated the filly would be nominated for both the Group Three Kindergarten Stakes on Saturday week and the Black Opal Stakes at Canberra a day later.

More Joyous has drifted from her opening price of $1.30 for the Silver Slipper out to $1.35 and is a clear $4.50 favourite for the Golden Slipper (1200m) at Rosehill on April 4.

"We've got more from her in the last couple of days to win the Golden Slipper than we have to win on Saturday," TAB Sportsbet's Glenn Munsie said.

"She's responsible for 40 per cent of the total investment on the Golden Slipper.

"More Joyous and Streets Away ($13) are more than half the investment in the Golden Slipper between them."

Munsie believes More Joyous faces a much tougher test in her second start than she did on debut on January 17 when she won by 5-1/4 lengths over 1100 metres.

"Onemorenomore ($18) ran a place behind Blue Diamond runner-up and Golden Slipper second favourite Real Saga and you've got last-start winners like Sunday Rose ($10) and Classic Rush," Munsie said.

"This is going to be a better race than people think."

Munsie said Group Two Hobartville Stakes favourite Youthful Jack remained solid at $3 but there also good money for Melbourne visitor Mic Mac ($4.60) and the Gai Waterhouse-trained Rock Kingdom ($9).

The Kevin Moses-trained Rhyno Chaser is rated a $41 chance and his hopes of running in the Group One Randwick Guineas (1600m) on March 14 hinge on his performance in the race.

The dual stakeswinner comes into the Hobartville after a luckless seventh to Youthful Jack in the Royal Sovereign Stakes on February 14.

"This is a very tough race but I'm very happy with him coming into it," Moses said.

"He raced well the other day but things didn't go his way, he got shuffled around a bit but he never really got fully wound up, so he's ready for this.

"If he can measure up then we'll look at the Randwick Guineas."
