Ron Quinton is keen to expand his small team and is hoping one of his stable's best marketing tools, Angel's Breath, sparks interest from prospective owners by continuing her winning run at Randwick on Saturday.

Angel's Breath is aiming to make it four consecutive wins when she reunites with Chris Munce in the Hit It Benny Handicap (1400m).

Quinton, an eight-time premier Sydney jockey, also works for Racing NSW as a jockeys' liaison officer but wants to remind the pubic that training is his main job.

"People think that because I'm with Racing NSW as well, that I am keen to do less training but nothing could be further from the truth," Quinton said.

"My role with them is very flexible and I'm keen to train more horses and having a horse with a good strike-rate like Angel's Breath is a pretty important way of promoting the stable."

The Tale Of The Cat filly has three wins from six starts and faces her toughest test against undefeated colt Opposite Poles but Quinton is confident she will run well.

Angel's Breath will carry 57.5kg, only a half-kilogram less than the Kevin Moses-trained Opposite Poles.

"This is the biggest ask she's had so far, up in grade and in the weights but her work has been very good leading into it and she will run a nice race," Quinton said.

The last start win by Angel's Breath at Randwick on December 20 was the first metropolitan winner for Munce after serving 20 months in jail for his part in the tips-for-bets scandal in Hong Kong.

Quinton claimed his second Group One winner as a trainer thanks to Munce, who rode Bulla Borghese to victory in the 2002 VRC Oaks.

"We wanted to give Chris an opportunity and he didn't let us down and I'm sure he'll do a great job again on Saturday," Quinton said.
