Greg Eurell's big spring hope Mic Mac looked good with a sparkling 800 barrier trial win at Cranbourne on Monday. The hitout was so impressive it convinced Eurell that the 4YO should kick off his Cox Plate campaign in Sat's Aurie's Star Handicap at Flemington. Mic Mac won five of his first six starts last season and Eurell reckons he's been going perfectly in his work leading up to his first-up run on Saturday.
