The Caulfield Guineas and a showdown with Whobegotyou is the next stop for exciting colt Dreamscape following his win in the Stan Fox Stakes at Randwick.

Whobegotyou won Friday night's Bill Stutt Stakes at Moonee Valley to assume $2.70 favouritism for the Group One Guineas in two weeks but Dreamscape's trainer Gai Waterhouse was in no doubt about the quality of her charge after his win in the1400m Group Two feature.

"I love training him, he's such an uncomplicated horse," Waterhouse said.

"He was in total control the whole race."

The Stan Fox was just Dreamscape's third start but his inexperience did not deter punters who sent him out the $2.15 favourite.

Whitefriars ($8) was forced to cross over and lead from the outside gate but could not answer the finishing burst of Dreamscape who turned for home on his tail.

Dreamscape went on to beat Whitefriars by 1-3/4 lengths with Queenslander Judge Me Not ($16) making ground late for third another 1-1/2 lengths away.

Love And Kisses ($2.80), who was put into the race instead of last week's Tea Rose against Samantha Miss, only battled fairly to the line for fourth and trainer Chris Waller will reassess her program.

Whitefriars' trainer Rick Worthington said the colt might still go to Melbourne for the Caulfield Guineas (1600m).

"We will see how he pulls up, we might still go to Melbourne," he said.

"The barrier beat him. He had to do all the work."

Judge Me Not will head back to Queensland with trainer Alan Bailey believing he has the makings of a good horse as long as he is not overtaxed this spring.

Dreamscape is raced by Eduardo Cojuangco's Gooree Stud which sold his dam Faith In Dreams a couple of years ago as she had failed to produce anything of note.

"We sold her but I'm glad we kept the right one," Gooree manager Andrew Baddock said.

"We would have been spitting chips if he had gone too."
